Guaraa in Fashion Club Founded in 2018 in Pune, Maharashtra goes beyond beauty pageants and modelling competitions. Founder Director Gaura Naik says, We are a talent promoting agency, pageant organisation, and proud collaborators NGOs. Our mission is to create positive change by focusing on various social causes, including women’s empowerment, the importance of education, and advocating for a Green India Clean India. To date, we have achieved the incredible milestone of planting over 5000 plants in Maharashtra and now through our next project Miss Mrs Mr Green of Maharashtra, a project to plant one million trees across the country has been started.
Recently, the final round of Gaura Miss, Mrs. and Mr. Green competition was organised by Gaura Inn Fashion Club at Hotel Westin, Koregaon Park. The concept of this year’s competition was Go Green. Palak Shivkumarshree (Pune), Dr. Preeti Dighe (Mumbai) and Vedant Koparde (Kolhapur) successfully cleared various rounds and won this year’s Miss Mrs. and Mr. Green titles of Maharashtra respectively while Akanksha Ghatole (Nagpur), Dr. Mansi Ravalelu, Ratnagiri (Khed), Rashmi Thakur, (Nashik), Ashlesha Bagde, (Pune), Jai Sharma (Thane), Dr. Sandeep Kanthale (Amravati) won first and second runners up respectively. The competition was judged by Mr. Grasim India and actor Rajneesh Duggal, Femina Miss India, first runner-up Shreya Punja, beauty pageant organiser Mukesh Kaneri. Mumbai-based grooming expert and choreographer Vishal Sawant groomed the contestants for the grand finale.
In the beauty pageant ceremony, Gaura Yashashree Awards were also given to the people who have done remarkable work in various fields. This year Mamta Sindhutai Sapkal (Social), Sambal player Gauri Vanarse and Ashimik Anand Kamathe (Tradition / Art) Adv. Somesh Vaidya (Progressive Farming) honoured with Gaura Yashshree Award. Entrepreneur Sanjay Ghodawat, Magarpatta City Education Foundation founder Yogesh Magar, Karuna Yogesh Magar, Dr. Shyam Raghunandan (Delhi) were present at the ceremony. The show was hosted by Sandeep Patil and Madhuri Soni.
