Eventually, we enjoy each and everyday of our life. Its a all day learning experience. I learn everyday in my life, coming up to the Official statement of our work holidays there’s no such holiday. We need to work harder on Festivals and holidays as we need to create a better and unique content for the audience. Blogging is an incredibly varied job and so consequently every day is different. I mentioned in my post last Saturday that I try and theme my days to make sure each day has a focus and I get everything done. Monday is about writing and editing my recipes, Tuesday and Thursday are about promoting my posts on social media and blogger linkups, Wednesdays are all about reviews and Friday is when I focus on developing my blog and making it even better. Talking about my Instagram strategy.

The first thing I do is check my latest post – mostly to make sure it has published correctly, but also to give it one last proof read. Somehow I find that so often typos only show up AFTER the post is published – it’s like they hide until then – gah! I always schedule my posts for 2 pm. I have read in many books and websites that it’s good to be consistent, so I am – mostly! Consistency is the key of success in this entire industry. You have to be constant while posting. The posts should be attractive enough to make the audience crave for your content. You need to trust your audience and give them time to engage with them and also one more thing. Never disappoint your audience, They need to be respected as well. If your audience is loving you, you also need to love them back. Reply back to every follower as they will respect you more. Even before you start your food blog, start building credibility by writing reviews on the Go-To platforms sluch as Zomato and Tripadvisor. Not only they help you get the hang of writing and clicking pictures, but also give you access to PR invites and events – and that is a lot of money you save on exploring restaurants and hotels, which you would otherwise be spending from your own pocket.Not doing this was a mistake I made, which I later rectified. I hope you learn from mine, instead of committing yours.

Talking about networking, be a team buddy and grow with the community. Talk to other bloggers, like & comment on their posts, push their giveaways and contests, and help them out when they need it. Don’t look at them as mere competitors – there is a lot of space out there for everybody. In the long run, not only will this informal network help you drive your content, but also will help you get access to information and events you would otherwise be oblivious of. If you have just started out, accept it that nobody cares about you or your blog. Do not expect brands or other influencers to be running to you to collaborate. Don’t shy away from reaching out to brands for partnerships, giveaways, etc, or to fellow bloggers for collaborations. Remember, you are NOT asking for a favour, but proposing a mutually beneficial engagement. If you are a blogger I’d love to know if this is similar to your days or totally different!
