1. What inspired you to venture into the world of fashion and lifestyle exhibitions?
Being an artist, I initially ventured a lot as an exhibitor and experienced very high stall charges without marketing, which adversely effects the profit margins. Then I thought of providing a good visibility in affordable prices and that’s how ‘Ranya’ which means ‘winner’ was born.

2. What sets your fashion and lifestyle exhibition apart from others in Pune?
My exhibitions offer something special in every season, showcasing a range of scintillating designs/ creatives for people of all age groups specially women at affordable rates. The varieties offered set straight into the hearts of those who want to make fashion statement. Socially such events enrich our cultural heritage and enhance our bonding by offering a platform for talents from across the State at one place.
3. How do you ensure that your exhibition provides value not just to exhibitors but also to the customers who attend?
My exhibitions attract a significant number of footfall as the products on sale are at an attractive price. My exhibitions aim to curate a memorable experience like never before and the customers gets to chose from products that are unique and reasonable and also by giving a one stop solution to all their shopping needs.
4. What role does innovation and creativity play in organizing successful exhibitions?
Giving are targeted audience something new everytime keeps the curiosity of the exhibitors as well as the customers, so that they look forward towards the next season. We are constantly seeking fresh ways to engage the customers. We experiment with novel formats such as immersive environments, and collaborative workshops.

5. As a woman leading in this space, how do you encourage and support other women entrepreneurs to showcase their talents?
Since my most exhibitors are women, it encourages them work together and create a more inclusive environment for people who identify as female. As an individual, I offer my time and expertise to anyone who reaches out to me for introductions, job referrals or even professional advice. We must believe that we can learn and grow together no matter what we are doing and where we are in our careers. It is important to figure out how to thrive as working women and take the time to invest in yourself while supporting others. Recognize your talents and find out how to share them with other women who may need guidance and inspiration to showcase their talents in any field.
6. What advice would you give to aspiring women entrepreneurs looking to enter the fashion and lifestyle industry?
I believe it’s important to share positives and also not-so-pleasant experiences with aspiring women entrepreneurs. We’re all facing similar challenges and opportunities. Sharing experiences will help them to understand fashion and lifestyle industry. If you want to suceed, you must thoroughly identify your target market and understand the needs of ever emerging fashion and lifestyle industry. Understanding your market will help you identify crucial attributes like price points and marketing plan messages that appeal to your target audience.

7. With sustainability being a major trend, how do you incorporate eco-friendly practices in your exhibitions?
In today’s world, sustainability has become a crucial aspect of all industries, including exhibitions. Implementing sustainable practices in exhibitions is not just a trend but a necessity for the future. I encourage exhibitors to display eco-friendly materials and design, waste reduction and management, thus my exhibitions significantly reduce environmental impact. I am also looking for partner with local organizations to donate excess food to those in need, reducing food waste and supporting the community.
8. How do you see fashion and lifestyle exhibitions contributing to the growth of local artisans and sustainable fashion in India?
Sustainable fashion is not just an important movement for preserving the environment, but it also presents significant opportunities for entrepreneurs in India. As more consumers are becoming conscious of the impact of their fashion choices, there is an increasing demand for sustainable fashion products that offer eco-friendliness, social responsibility, and ethical manufacturing practices. This demand is driving entrepreneurs to create innovative and sustainable fashion solutions, from materials to production and distribution.
