Dr.Shilpa Dane, a doctor and a singer from Pune was crowned as ‘Mrs India – Empress of the Nation Timeless Beauty at the DIVA Pageants event held recently at Hyatt Pune. It showcased a total of 50 Confident, Charming and Charismatic women from different walks of life, from diverse backgrounds and cities of various states of India, selected from amongst 300 applicants, leaving the audience in absolute awe that night.
This was the pageant’s 4th season, which is the brainchild of Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas.
“I owe my Timeless Beauty to the love that resides in my heart, my son, and of course to my genes”, beams the gorgeous Shilpa.
Having done her MBBS, MD, DNB, Dr. Shilpa Dane is a practising Doctor–Clinical Cardiologist and Diabetologist with certifications from various Universities like Harvard University, American Diabetic and Heart Association and John Hopkin University, Baltimore,USA. She is also an accomplished Singer. In fact, she had done a few songs and videos for T-series in the past, including the popular ‘Aaika Daajiba’ Remix to her credit. She was also crowned as Mrs Maharashtra Beautiful Skin in 2019.
“I got to learn so much, meet so many wonderful women and mothers, many who left their homes and their kids and stayed at Hyatt for a reason, woman with various scales of confidence levels and beauty but all strong, talented and focused and enjoying what they are doing”, smiles Dr Shilpa.
The Guests of Honour were Mr Aseem Gupta, Principal Secretary – Urban Development, Mr Vikram Kumar- Pune Municipal Commissioner &Manjusha Nibe – Founder NIBE Limited.
Actor, Neelam Kothari Soni led the Elite Jury along with Actor & Sports Presenter – Ridhima Pathak. Sandeep Singh – GM HYATT, Pune, Swatee Kumar – C.A., Ovette Ricalde – International Pageant Director, Dr Leena Gupta – Winner Mrs India MIEN 2021, Cicilia Sanyal – Winner Mrs India MIEN 2021, Farha Anwar – Mrs Asia 2018, Karl Mascarenhas – Director DIVA Pageants, were the esteemed judges for the evening
Celebrity host & Actor, Aman Yatan Verma hosted this grand event with his customary verve and vigour.
Dr. Shilpa wants to give a message to all women to believe in themselves and move ahead in life, even if married and having kids. She further adds,” I find immense joy in shaping young minds and believe that education is essential for everyone.”She says, “Financial independence is the need of the hour. It is the only way which can help you to Dare, Dream and Achieve. And only education and right mindset can help us shape our life’s and be Financially independent.” She is a social worker too, helping various individuals and organisations.
After winning this crown now, Dr Shilpa is now all set to inspire other woman around the globe by sharing her journey from T-series to becoming a doctor to getting crowned as Mrs Maharashtra followed by Mrs India.
