But with her father’s constant support, she defied societal norms, eventually becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2015.
After two years in tax consulting, Kanchan felt the entrepreneurial spark ignite. In 2018, she took a leap of faith, launching Hide-In India with just one floor and a terrace. Today, the venture has blossomed into Hide-In India, a growing chain of accommodations carefully chosen for their prime locations and authentic experiences.

As a woman entrepreneur in the male-dominated hospitality sector, Kanchan has faced her share of scepticism. “In Rajasthan, brokers would refuse to speak with me, insisting on dealing with a man instead,” she shares. Yet, these obstacles only strengthened her resolve to succeed and pave the way for other women in the industry.
