Recently, she embarked on an 18-day road trip from Bangalore to Kashmir to Kanyakumari, leading the “Voice for the VOICELESS, #straylifematters” campaign under the Sunshine Children for Change initiative. This incredible journey left an enduring mark on animal welfare and environmental consciousness, showcasing Manya’s commitment to making a difference.
Founder of Sunshine Environment magazine, Manya goes beyond words, actively participating in workshops, seminars, cleanup drives, and plantation initiatives. During her cross-country expedition, she not only advocated for stray cattle but also took tangible steps by tossing over 2000 seed balls across 12 states and a union territory. This hands-on approach contributes to a greener and more sustainable planet, reflecting Manya’s dedication to environmental causes.
Manya’s recent mission to the Pench Tiger Reserve demonstrated her passion for wildlife conservation. Through the Youth for Wildlife Conservation campaign, she fervently championed the #savetiger initiative. Engaging in workshops, seminars, and social media advocacy, Manya’s presence at Pench served as a rallying call for wildlife protection. Her efforts underline her commitment to conservation and highlight the significant impact an individual can have in safeguarding endangered species.
As part of her SUNSHINE – Children for Change Campaign, Manya has distributed 8000 saplings, 9000+ sustainable bags, planted 7600 saplings, and thrown over 8000 seed bombs during her travels. In addition, she has organized numerous cleanups, removing nearly 200 kgs of plastic waste from various water bodies, forests, highways, and city roads.
