Mayuri graduated in Business Management in 2008, and specializes in human resources. Her career began with an eight-year stint at Apollo Health & Lifestyle Ltd, where she honed her skills in complete employee life cycle, HR, and IR-related legal matters for the company. Later, she became the Head of Human Resources at Nebula Group of Companies, where she planned and executed a successful HR management system from scratch. She also worked as a Sr Manager HR & Unit Head at Shalby Group of Hospitals, where she continued to demonstrate her expertise in the medical industry.
In 2020, Mayuri and her husband Andrew who is an Aviator by profession, established UpEdge Healthcare Services Pvt. Ltd., which has become one of the most successful start-ups in the medical field in Eastern India. They founded UpEdge Vocational Training College, which is affiliated with the National Council of Vocational & Research Training and offers courses in paramedical sciences. Within two years, the college and UpEdge Diagnostics have become the region’s most desired paramedical college and diagnostic center, attracting students from Bihar, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, North East, and West Bengal.
Mayuri’s goal was to create an institution that would provide quality education and training to the next generation of medical professionals. She curated the courses as per the NCVRT syllabus and the current requirements in the medical field, ensuring that students receive the best possible education and training. She believes that education and technology are the keys to success in the medical industry, and has used the latest technology to create a state-of-the-art diagnostic center that offers all services under one roof.
The diagnostic center has become an advantage due to its location, with no other diagnostic center in the vicinity offering all services under the same roof. Adding the X-ray, USG, Echo, and TMT will infuse more walk-ins per day. With Mayuri at the helm, the center is committed to providing the most accurate diagnosis possible and using the latest technology to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
